Casual Sales Assistant - Sydney City Stores + New Birkenhead Point Store

 
The Academy Brand is a locally owned and operated Men's lifestyle fashion brand. The retail sector of our business is growing rapidly and we're seeking a casual sales assistant to join the team. You will need to be passionate about delivering and maintaining a high level of customer service to our loyal customer base, consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and possess a sharp eye for detail across all areas of the store.


Key responsibilities:
 
  • Work closely with the Retail Operations Manager to exceed KPI's and sales targets
  • Ensure weekly stock deliveries are processed onto the shop floor in a timely manner
  • Maintain the highest level of customer service along with exceptional product knowledge to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a high level of presentation in the store as per our VM guide

    Store Manager - New Birkenhead Point Store

     
    You will need to be passionate about delivering and maintaining a high level of customer service to our loyal customer base, consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and possess a sharp eye for detail across all areas of the store. Potential candidates will need to be analytical, and business savvy with excellent people management skills. Reporting to the Retail Operations Manager, you will have full accountability for your store, ensuring that it reflects the brand's ethos including visual merchandising, stock management, staff training and the overall customer experience. We offer a very competitive salary package and a generous clothing allowance policy.
     
    Key responsibilities:
     
  • Work closely with the Retail Operations Manager to exceed KPI's and sales targets
  • Recruitment, training and development of your retail team
  • Stock control and implementation of the in-store VM Directives
  • Maintain the highest level of customer service along with exceptional product knowledge to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Day to day store operations with a hands on approach
  •  
    To be successful you need to have:
     
  • Strong retail management experience preferably Store Manager or 2IC level experience
  • Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written
  • Experience within a fast paced retail environment
  • A passion to reach and exceed company sales targets
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to think on your feet
  • Fantastic training and development skills
  • Knowledge of fashion trends
  • A growth mindset towards building your retail fashion career
